Halifax Comedy Podcast Collaborates with Major Polling Firm

Non-Census and YouGov Canada Team Up on Comedy Polling Series

Halifax, NS - September 29, 2026 — Halifax-based comedy podcast Non-Census is working with YouGov Canada, one of the country's leading data and polling firms, which will provide custom Canadian polling for the show.

Non-Census will put Canadian comedians in the hot seat, asking them to predict the results of real, though sometimes quirky, polling questions, with data provided by YouGov Canada. Where would Canadians put the nation's capital if it had to be moved from Ottawa? What percentage of Albertans know where in Canada they could visit the community of Dildo? Who has more frequent road rage, drivers in Ontario or Quebec? Each episode provides meaningful insight into who we are as a country, giving listeners new perspectives on their fellow Canadians as they laugh and play along.

The collaboration with YouGov Canada gives Non-Census access to one of the most trusted names in polling, with findings coming from YouGov’s panel of more than 800,000 Canadians.

The podcast, hosted by Adam Langer, debuted its first episode in June featuring Trent McClellan, star of This Hour Has 22 Minutes, and Adam Christie, winner of the 2026 Juno Award for Best Comedy Album.

The collaboration will provide data for upcoming episodes featuring comedy stars including Chris Wilson from This Hour Has 22 Minutes, award-winning writer and comedian Jordan Foisy, and Wall Street Journal Best Selling Author Drew Dudley.
